You have been given a Username and Password from PayPal that allows you to enter the main site. Hopefully you have written these down as PayPal advised. Please save your Username and Password in a safe place. To enter the member's side of the site, simply click on the member's log in link on the main page and you will be asked to enter your Username and Password. If your computer asks if you want it to remember your Username and Password I suggest that you click yes. This way you will not have to keep re-entering them manually each visit as the Username and Password fields will be automatically filled in. For you first session you should already be logged in. Try clicking on the member's link above if you are not already on the member's side.

Since your Username and Password for ricktsai.com is computer generated they are a random combination of numbers and letters. However, once you enter the member’s side you will be asked to create a Forum or Community Username and Password. You will make these up on your own. Choose a Username that you would like to be known as and a Password that is easy for you to remember. Write these down and save them in a safe place as well. You Username on the forum will be what other Doctors will know you as. Feel free to use you real name as I and many Doctors do, or make up anything that you want. I would suggest that if you use your real name; remember to use your title, Dr. as well.

Once you get to the members side, you will immediately be able to access all of the member's benefits except the Community. To enter the Community you must first enter the Username and Password of your choice and then wait for Confirmation from Dr. Tsai. To do this click on the Forum tab titled "Register." This is located in the upper left hand corner of the first Forum page that will open up. You will be asked to agree to the terms of the site. Simply click "I Agree to These Terms." Now fill out the information about yourself. Be as open or private as you would like. The fields with the asterisk are mandatory however. I suggest leaving the options left exactly as they are until you are more familiar with the forum. If you have a favorite saying, type it in the field called, "Signature." Your saying will be displayed near your name when posting on the forum. 

The field that asks about avatars is an important one but that will be done later when you reach the inside of the forum. You will find avatar instructions inside the member's forum under forum usage questions and answers. An avatar is a picture that is placed by your name. Other Doctors will associate this picture with you. 

When you are finished filling in the fields on the register page simply click submit. You will then receive an e-mail that will give you permission to enter the Community. This could take a few minutes or a few hours but always within 24 hours. Until I send you this confirmation you will only be able to access a portion of the member's side. You will be able to watch videos, read the current script and Brain Cleanser but not access your colleagues and I in the forum. I must manually send you this confirmation via email once I am notified that you joined. I check my email several times daily 365. Even on vacations. This is simply a safety feature built in to the site.

Important!

If for whatever reason you do not feel that this is the greatest innovation since oxygen, you are free to cancel your subscription at any time. To do this you must go to PayPal.com and enter your email address and the initial password that you made up when filling out your credit card information. I hope you wrote it down as it advised you. If not, no big deal. You can retrieve your forgotten password or generate a new one by clicking on the "I forgot my Password" link on the PayPal site. Let's assume that you have the password. Simply log in to the site and it will take you to your account associated with my site. Here you can access the records of your transactions with ricktsai.com. Simply click on the "Overview" tab. Find the record of the transaction called "Subscription Creation." This is a record of the date that you joined the site. Click on the "Details" link right next to it. Scroll to the bottom of the details page and here you will see a "Cancel Subscription" link. Click this link and it will walk you through the canceling process.
